IN THIS ARTICLE LEARN.....
Are you struggling to find a writing voice on your blog? Writing a blog post is not difficult, what is difficult is giving your article post some legs, figuring out how the plot will end and finally cashing in on your fruits of labor. My point is that writing creatively can be learned and if you want to understand it better, then you must find creative writing blogs to shadow someone you like, and dig deep behind the wizardly of writing blogs as you study and learn.
The catalysts to the millionaire genius salesman who became a millionaire selling Pet rocks, Gary Ross Dahl, will probably always be remembered for inventing the Pet Rock, a 1970s novelty toy craze. The creative brilliance of this salesman was essentially selling rocks for a living, and I can tell you that he managed to make millions through his ridiculously successful marketing scheme.
And here’s why…
Pet owners are emotionally charged and invested in their pets, Gary understood this very well, as a result, he channeled his creative writing in tapping into that emotion.
Gary was no stranger to selling, he began his career as an advertising copywriter, Dahl quickly turned entrepreneur when his idea of selling rocks as pets took off. Stories will tell you that It all started one night in the mid-70s while having a drink at a local bar in Los Gatos, California.
You can say what you want about the ridiculous idea Idea you have, Gary was solving a problem People around him were concerned and this particular concern was relating to pets, the dilemma in this was all about how costly and difficult it was to feed, walk and clean up after pets.
If you’re reading this, chances are that you are on the lookout for writing gigs that your business could use as hired guns for whatever job you have going, even better, you could be looking at getting hired to write for bloggers or business owners who just haven’t got time to write twice or three times a week.
Regardless of what sort of writing blogs you are looking for, you’ve probably noticed the huge amount of creative writing blogs out there today.
And unfortunately, many are pretty much basic, unappealing or poorly made.
There are a select few blogs and websites that are smartly designed, well-maintained and loaded with useful content for any creative writer.
In this article today, my goal is to simply help you achieve one or two things if:
You have a small or medium business that could benefit from the huge free traffic source that is available online now and are looking at hiring someone who can help your business to grow organically through creative writing.
On the other hand, maybe you are looking at how you could apply the above-mentioned strategies, to grow your blog readership, increase revenue and sales of products you promote through creative blogging.
So to start off, let me point out that, creative writing is a fancy way of saying that you are going to start a blog, but you have thought, researched and planned what you will be writing about in line with what you will be selling or promoting.
What I mean is:
If your goal is to market Yoga Marts, then your creative writing would have to fall in line with how you can go about elevating the value of Yoga in a creative way before you can offer or ask for a sale, this has to be done so that your consumers do not feel like they are being sold the yoga marts when the time to make the offer is right.
Selling is a complex process, it begins with having a relationship, and this can be achieved through email marketing. People just don’t like being sold, so if you are going to attempt writing blogs with a motive to sell, then you might as well do it right.
A BLOG is a collection of strategic pieces of content, hosted on a frequently updated online personal journal or diary. It is a place to express yourself to the world.
A place to share your thoughts and your passions. Really, it’s anything you want it to be. For our purposes, we’ll say that a blog is your own website that you are going to strategically update on an ongoing basis, with an aim of achieving a set goal.
Some people start a blog to showcase their creative writing talents, others create a blog to promote a brand or product.
However you see it, creating a blogger can be powerful and fulfilling adventures you will ever do.
As a business owner myself, I know what starting a blog can do, I have used blogs as a tactical tool for building authority online as well as offline. But I have also used blogging as a link building tool or to reach out to people who need help or support.
A Blog is a short form for the word weblog and the two words are used interchangeably.
Creating a blog for me is like planning to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, there is always an ulterior motive behind such journeys… So if you asked me what creative writing is, I would say the writing style focused on a goal behind the principle ulterior motive in setting up a blog in the first place.
When you look at a blog you will notice that it is usually made of a collection of posts short, informal, sometimes controversial, and sometimes deeply personal with the freshest information at the top.
You will also notice that these blog posts are creatively written and strategically positioned to either solve someone’s problems or offer an insight into a broader subject matter.
So if you are wondering what creative writing is all about, the answer really depends on what goal you want your writing to achieve.
Are you starting a blog to creatively write and grow your personal brand? Or have you created a blog to help you with making money online from home so you don’t have to go work a 9-5 job?
Whatever it is that got you started writing blogs, If you do it earnestly, you will surely get paid for doing what you love, or you will be rewarded with huge traffic to your business.
I know I want to earn money on the side using a blog but….
As so often happens in the English language, many derivatives of the word blog have been created. This can get a bit messy for people who start a blog for the first time. So I thought why not do away with the mumbo-jumbo jargon that comes with the blogosphere!
If you happen to participate in the activities of maintaining a blog you will from now be known as a blogger and the activity of keeping a blog is known as blogging.
With that out of the way, we could say that the blogger blogs in his blog, but that might cause your English teacher to weep.
But rest assured that we are going to use these terms with an alarming frequency, so make sure you understand what they mean before you go on.
